The Authors propose a new approach to the diagnosis and treatment of superficial bladder cancer. They focus on T1–G2 multifocal tumours and T1–G3, also if monofocal, that have a high incidence of lymph node involvement. In these cases, they perform pelvic laparoscopic lymph node dissection, thus obtaining an accurate diagnosis with a minimally invasive technique.
