Cystectomy was performed using laparoscopic techniques in 10 pigs weighing between 25 and 30 kilograms. Urinary diversion was performed with different techniques. The types of diversion included ureterosigmoidostomy and cutaneous diversion. Clinical applications await improvements in instrumentation for implantation of ureters.
