A case of Schwannoma arising from the penile shaft is reported. The patient ignored the tumor for about five years because he felt no pain. Cystourethrograms showed the tumor did not cause urethral compression. Histologically the tumor belonged to the Antoni A type category. Resection of the tumor, which included the tunica albuginea, did not cause bending of the penis during erection. The postoperative course was uneventful and he had no detectible recurrence as of July 1990.
