Abstract
Diagnostic and surgical knee arthroscopy occasion ally requires a posterior knee puncture. Unfortunately, posterior arthroscope insertion can be a difficult and frustrating experience. The technique described at tempts to obviate some of these problems. The merits of the technique include speed, safety, and consist ency, while at the same time not requiring the pur chase of yet another expensive arthroscopic device.
