Abstract
Guided imagery can be an effective and enjoyable way to do therapy in general and redecision therapy in particular. “The House of Many Parts,” a guided imagery process developed by the author, is described. Two brief case studies present examples of a redecision made and a synthesis achieved during the imagery process itself with no need for further work. A third case study illustrates various interventions during therapeutic work after the imagery process. A running commentary explains the purpose of the interventions and discusses underlying issues of theory when working with images.
