This article describes a practical and easily understood modification of transactional analysis concepts that is applicable in both organizational and clinical settings. The TA concepts of effective and ineffective ego states, OK and not-OK complementary transactions, crossed transactions, and symbiosis (codependency) are integrated with neuro-linguistic concepts such as framing, map of the world, and auditory, visual, and kinesthetic processing.
