The eight steps of the Dance of Relationship are presented to show how couples structure time together. In a therapy setting this technique can help a couple gain insight into: 1) their illusions versus the reality of how they spend time together, 2) how to avoid manipulative ploys designed to control each other, 3) how to achieve more of their wants within the relationship, and 4) how to attain harmony in their “dance” together.
