A psychotherapeutic strategy combining elements of redecision, psychodynamic, and behavioral therapies is described. This approach has been effective in treating nonpsychotic adult females who were formerly victims of child abuse. General life histories and psychodynamics of these women are specified. Results of all cases treated by this method are reported, and some aspects of the treatment program are discussed.
