Systemic Assessment and Treatment Considerations in TA Child Psychotherapy

Abstract

The authors categorize the difficulties exhibited by children needing psychotherapy into six major types of problems. A clinical example accompanies each. Three sub-systems that impinge on the child's life are identified, and the advantages and disadvantages of different psychotherapeutic formats are discussed.
