This article examines Massey's response (January 1986 TAJ) offering criticism of and expanding on several points in my article (October 1985 TAJ) on combining paradoxical intervention and transactional analysis. Several problems with Massey's criticism of the article and his understanding of paradoxical psychotherapy are discussed.
