This paper discusses, from a personal point of view, the role of the psychotherapist and the artist as agents of social change.
The paper argues for the place of values in the process and intent of therapy. Strongly influenced by Reichian and Existential thought, it is the author's conviction that social purpose as well as individual well-being are vital goals in the practice of Transactional Analysis.
