Passive-aggressiveness is induced; it is not an inherent trait. The steps in creating a passive-aggressive personality are presented, and the power struggle game is described. The author also describes the effects of the game on the passive-aggressive person, suggests caveats in dealing with him, and makes suggestions for remedying the effects of the game.
