The three positions and switches around the Drama Triangle (S. Karpman) are described as they are enacted by Martin Dysart, the psychiatrist in the contemporary play Equus. Several therapeutic interventions are suggested to cut short such a reallife drama so that the therapeutic process may be enhanced.
