Abstract
Discusses the use of guided fantasy to elicit, isolate, and resolve individual and joint issues of couples in conjoint treatment. Describes use of the fantasy of scenes from a play (M. James and D. Jongeward) as a therapeutic technique particularly applicable to clinical assessment, script information, opportunity for re-decision, and the facilitation of marital treatment. Specific suggestions are provided, and caveats given, for utilizing this approach.
