This article stresses the importance of planned follow-up work to redecisions by using the principle of generalization as a framework for the treatment plan. A clinical typescript demonstrates the work. Finally, three group exercises are suggested for implementing the ideas of generalizing redecisions in a workshop and large group setting or as treatment group homework assignments.
