LD&A looks at today's young lighting designer—Part 1

Abstract

What is the motivating force behind today's lighting designer? How did he (or she) get to where he is today? What are his goals and objectives? How does he feel about his various working relationships? How far does he want to go, and how fast?

To answer these and other burning questions, LD&A assembled a group of budding, young lighting designers and asked these and other questions in roundtable discussion format. Here are their answers, slightly edited due only to space limitations.
