1.Yes Sessions were an integral part of the creative process that generated the Warner Bros. Cartoons of the 1940s, 50s and 60s. Yes Sessions are not brainstorming sessions in which anything goes, but exist to advance ideas and concepts further. The concept is simple: any form of “NO” is strictly forbidden. According to Jones, “Many men and women have acquired a reputation for intelligence who know only this word and have used it in place of thought on every occasion ” (Chuck Amuck, p. 151 ). If you do not like an idea, you have to find a positive way to improve it. The obvious successes of the work that Jones and his cronies generated is proof enough that Yes Sessions work.
