Abstract
The Bi-Digital O-Ring Test (OMURA, Y., 1977-2009 ; BDORT) has greatly changed my ideas. During over 30years experience, the author faced many patients with persistent symptoms. After studying BDORT, these symptoms no longer bothered me so much. Recently patients with depression are increasing. We should pay more attention to gastrointestinal treatments.
Several case studies
Depression-male 36 yrs old
There was no treatment for his stomach and colon. In oriental medicine, we check the whole body condition. In western medicine, doctors only check the circulation of the brain. The author thinks it is not enough. Acupuncture and Chinese herb was effective. After acupuncture, BDORT showed the stomach and colon improved a little. But it is not enough. Chinese herb was a big help. In the Chinese herb effective drugs for his stomach were in it. Drugs acupuncture and Chinese herbs were a good combination for him.
Depression-female 54 yrs old
Complaint was growing gradually. The progress of disease is quite simple. Her complaints are really related with her life history. If she gave attention to her gastrointestinal change, it was not necessary to be suffering from many complaints. Through several treatments, she began to remember how long each complaint lasted.
Depression-female 27 yrs old
Each drug has a weak point for curing depression. For persistent depressions, doctors increasethe drugs without knowing the efficiency of each drug. In her case it started from 3 kinds of drugs and at the end she was taking 7 kinds which were not effective. Many patients are not aware oftheir own stomach and colon condition; if the functions are low they cannot keep their immunity level high. As a result many meaningless drugs overwork the stomach and colon. In this case the author decided to treat her stomach first and control her colon condition. These treatments motivated her. If the author didn’t know BDORT, the author could not treat like this.
Conclusion
There is no way to digitalize depression without BDORT. The doctors have to write a prescription for depression with his experience and his own sense. If the patient says it is getting worse, many doctors increase the dosage or change it. Digitalization of the disease is one of the important factors to decide the way of treatment. But we don’t know what is happening in the patient’s body. Blood tests are not enough to know the depression level. In the case of acupuncture treatments, very few patients came to my clinic to be treated for depression. BDORT showed us the causes of depression were related to gastrointestinal functions. In conclusion, we should check the stomach and colon condition first and then decide on the treatment method.
