Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this presentation is to theorize the relationship between TM disorders and the meridian flow (Qi) in elemental oriental medicine and application for the Bi-Digital O-Ring Test (BDORT).
Subjects
TMJ syndrome affects all of the body.
TMJ shows a pump like movement, therefore, it can be called the second heart.
Occlusion affects the meridian in oriental medicine and head and the body distortions.
The meridian flow (Qi) of oriental medicine begins around the mouth and ends around the mouth.
The mouth is related to the brain and the lung, because die brain’s origin is the function of the eating and the lung’s origin is the distention of the esophagus.
Results
From these S points,TMJ can be hypothesized to be a pump that circulates the meridian flow (Qi) in oriental medicine.
Discussion
By using this meridian pump TMJ theory, Oriental medicine, Chiroplactic, AK technique, TM disorders. Modem medicine and B.D.O.R.T. is easy to understand.
