Abstract
The internal and external angle of the eyes are places of union and confluence in which there is a special communication of the main meridians and channels of energy of the organs and viscerals of the body.
we have used acupuncture in the following conditions with varying results:
Myopia; contact lens (tolerance and other difficulties); cataracts (opacity of the lens); glaucoma (before and after operation); retinitis; scotome centellant; queratitis; fototraumatism (described “luminous oftalmia”); hemorrhage (most of the cases are “diabetics”); nistagmus (congenital cases); ambliopia; corneal transplantation; post-operatively (acupuncture for nausea, postural pain in different places, “alaquia”); strabismus; analgesia.
