The Provision of Legal and Economic Information to the Public in some European Community Countries

Abstract

Mr Villanueva, a lecturer at the library school of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica in Lima (Peru), was awarded the last Martinus Nijhoff Study Grant in 1991. This grant, administered by IFLA Headquarters, enabled Mr Villanueva to undertake a study tour in the Netherlands, the UK, France and Spain during November— December 1991. As required under the terms of the Grant, a full report has been filed at IFLA HQ and submitted to Martinus Nijhoff International. In the short report which follows, Mr Villanueva gives some personal and professional impressions of the services which formed the main subject of the study.
