Abstract
The Board of IAML (International Asso ciation of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres) decided that IFLA should receive a report on the acti vities of IAML on a yearly basis. Accord ingly, it was agreed that the report submit ted by Ms Veslemöy Heinz, the Secretary General of IAML to its General Assembly which met in Oxford in September 1989 would be the first such report sent.
