Abstract
Herewith an overview of the highlight of the year 1981 is presented. The Executive Board of IFLA decided to publish in future in even (non-Council) years only a brief summary of annual events in IFLA Journal. In odd years there will be - additional ly — a separate brochure covering more extensively the events of the two past years for the convenience of the delegates to the Council meeting.
