Hypoglycaemia commonly manifests as increased sympathetic discharge or as neuroglycopaenia in the awake patient. This case may represent an example of the effect of hypoglycaemia on the heart giving rise to ventricular tachycardia, which promptly resolved at the time of correction of hypoglycaemia.
