Abstract
The women's forum at the Miners' Strike Twenty Years On: Challenges and Changes conference brought together women activists from the Durham area and national officials from the Women Against Pit Closures (WAPC), to discuss the history of mining community activism by women since the strike, and the present and future hopes and desires for ex-mining communities.
