Abstract
This paper deals with a hybrid photovoltaic wind drive scheme and management for an isolated water pumping system. In order to supply the indirect rotor field-oriented controlled induction motor coupled to the shaft of a centrifuge pump, a supervisor decide the choice between the energy sources. Different electronic adaptation stages as inverter, buck converter and diode rectifier are used in the proposed system. Models of different constituents of the system are developed and implemented on Matlab/Simulink in order to realize the control scheme. Satisfying results have been obtained when the dynamic performances of the pitched wind turbine, the photovoltaic panel, the supervisor, the self-excited induction generator and the induction motor are presented and analyzed.
