Abstract
We wish to thank all of the reviewers who considered manuscripts submitted to Prosthetics and Orthotics International in 2016. In all, 168 reviewers contributed to the review of 235 manuscripts we received during the year.
Editorial decisions in scientific publishing depend in large part on the carefully considered views of scientific peers. In a multidisciplinary journal like POI, we depend on experts from around the world representing a wide range of disciplines including prosthetics, orthotics, rehabilitation, medicine, surgery, education and engineering. We rely on our expert reviewers for high-quality, insightful, and rigorous critiques of submitted manuscripts. Their clinical, scientific, and methodological expertise assist the Editorial Team in decision making and their comments are instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the clinical relevance and scientific quality of articles published in the Journal.
