20 June 2014: 4th ISPO Czech Republic Conference
The 4th ISPO Czech Republic Conference is focused on the multidisciplinary approach in prosthetics and orthotics. The conference will bring together international presenters and participants, and is open to a wide audience of professionals - doctors (surgery, orthopaedics, traumatology, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, etc.), professionals from physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orthotics and prosthetics, biomechanics, as well as students of these fields.

25–27 June 2014: ISPO Global Educators Meeting
The ISPO Global Educators Meeting (GEM) 2014, to take place in Kobe (Japan), aims at gathering P&O educators and administrators from all over the world to discuss, coordinate, initiate and share P&O education-related activities. In particular, the GEM assumes as its main objective the improvement of communication and collaboration between P&O schools across the globe.

05–08 August 2014: ISPO Short Course on Stroke 2014
An ISPO Short Course on the Orthotic and Therapeutic Management of Stroke Patients will take place between 5-8 August 2014, in Bangkok (Thailand). The organizers of the event are the Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (SSPO) and the Faculty of Medicine – Siriraj Hospital (Mahidol University), whose premises will also serve as venues for the conference activities. The event serves the purpose of disseminating the most current information on the treatment of stroke management, and is aimed at doctors, physiotherapists, orthotists and other interested healthcare professionals.

28–30 August 2014: Master Class on Tuning the AFO-Footwear Combination: a Segmental Kinematic Approach
The “Designing, aligning and tuning the AFO-footwear combination: a segmental kinematic approach to standing, stepping and gait” master class, organised by ISPO Australia, will be given by Elaine Owen, MBE MSc SRP MCSP, a clinical specialist physiotherapist at the Child Development Centre in Bangor (UK). The event will take place in Melbourne, Australia, and is expected to gather orthotists, physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists from different countries.
