Sponsored by ISPO Member Society USA in cooperation with the O&P EDGE, the Pacific Rim Conference 2012 “A Pacific Forum for Physical Rehab” will take place on 22-25 January 2012 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
This conference aims to facilitate the exchange of information and resources among the various healthcare professionals involved with the physical rehabilitation of children and adults who require orthoses and prostheses in order to maximize their level of function and independence.
More specifically, people will learn about progressive treatment options and innovations and hear from recognized physical rehabilitation professionals through plenary sessions and workshops. It will also provide a good opportunity for attendees to expand their network of rehabilitation professionals, including prosthetics, orthotics, physical medicine, physical therapy, research and development professionals, engineering and administration.

Confairmed GmbH is organising the O+R World Congress & International Trade Show in close cooperation with the Leipzig Trade Fair, as well as national and international specialist associations and specialist scientific federations.

21 – 23 May 2012: TIPS 2012, Loughborough (United Kingdom)
Organized by ISPO Member Society in the UK, the Trent International Prosthetic Symposium (TIPS) 2012 - the premier international event dedicated to the management of upper extremity amputees and limb deficient children will be held on 21-23 May in the grounds of Loughborough University in the UK.
The symposium will include a mix of guest lectures, invited speakers, free papers, exhibition and manufacturers' workshops – but with some additional features including opportunities for participants to submit short clinical papers developing solutions to challenges encountered in everyday practice and instructional workshops.
TIPS 2012 endeavours to provide a multi-disciplinary forum and a wide range of opportunities for delegates to engage with rehabilitation professionals from across the globe.

3-5 August 2012: APOSM 2012, Kobe (Japan)
ISPO Japan in cooperation with the Japan Orthotics Prosthetics Association, the Japanese Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics and the Japanese Academy of Prosthetists and Orthotists will organize the 5th Asian Prosthetic and Orthotic Scientific Meeting (APOSM) in Kobe, Japan on 3-5 August 2012.
Entitled “Powerful Asia”, the meeting aims to enhance and strengthen the partnership among Asian nations. It will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about the most recent findings and evidence in the prosthetic and orthotic field, but also to build and expand their professional network.
