‘War Babes’: The Lived Experiences of Adults Born to Black Gls and British Women during World War II

Abstract

Janet Baker, is a British, African-American who has returned to England after living in Australia for the past 25 years. She is in the final stages of a MSW thesis based on the life experience of adults born to black GIs and British women during the Second World War. She is also a member of the researched cohort.
