Current trends suggest that degree status is desirable for occupational therapists. A survey taken at one month into a multidisciplinary course to convert diplomas to degrees shows that health-care professionals are anxious to improve their personal development. Problems of finance, travel and other practical issues can be overcome, without interfering with work and social commitments.
