Individual Behavioural Programme Planning with Long-Stay Schizophrenic Patients Part 1: Programmes Planned and Followed in an Occupational Therapy Department

Abstract

In a previous article the author described occupational therapy participation in a 3-year behaviour therapy research project.¹ This three-part paper deals in more detail with two interventions employed with project patients in occupational therapy — programmes designed specifically to be followed in the occupational therapy department and social skills groups — and also with occupational therapy staff as part of the multidisciplinary team.
