Abstract
A survey of long-stay psychiatric patients was carried out at Park Prewett Hospital during 1982–84. The survey included 181 items of observed functional behaviour for the purpose of recommending both residential accommodation and rehabilitation. An account of the survey was published in this journal in May 1985. This is the final report of that survey and includes data presented by age and sex relative to the recommendations made as a result of the survey.
