The process of evaluation/treatment provides the basis for analysing the problem, formulating objectives to reduce deficits and outlining a treatment plan to develop specific skills. The way in which the process of evaluation is currently being used to provide an effective occupational therapy programme in a forensic psychiatric setting is described.
