EMG biofeedback is a rapidly developing field of treatment being used for an ever-increasing range of medical conditions. Many researchers have documented the effectiveness or noneffectiveness of this treatment modality. This article describes the clinical usefulness of EMG biofeedback training from an occupational therapist's point of view. Two clinical case studies are documented and recommendations are made.
