The rehabilitation department of the Querns Hospital, a peripheral geriatric hospital, has had over a year's experience in the use of videotape equipment. The author describes the advantages of using such equipment, the benefits to both patients and staff, and its potential in home visits and teaching. She provides a list of technical hints and concludes that the videotape can add a new dimension to everyday patient management.
