Abstract
This article looks at the advantage of using the social worker's pattern of supervision for occupational therapists working in the community, though it might be applicable to those in hospital also. The scheme as outlined is but one possible approach and many of the details can be adjusted to suit local conditions. It is a beginning only; such a technique will inevitably develop with experience.
