Abstract
The Occupational Therapy Students' Working Party was set up in 1977 as part of the National Union of Students (Health Students Sector). It draws its support from amongst students throughout Britain. Working Party meetings and conferences, which all O. T. students can attend, are held in different colleges. To date the O.T. Students' Working Party has organised four conferences and produced papers and publications; it involves itself in issues of student welfare, discipline, patient care and educational methods. An executive carries out most of the day-to-day business. Here two students describe the Working Party's ethos and function.
