Abstract
There is nothing new about the concept of day centre treatment for psychiatric patients but this article gives an account of how two members of the Association established one and their findings in relation to its viability and success. The Journal believes that readers working in a similar set-up will gain something from reading about the authors' experience. They may contact the authors to make constructive criticism in the light of their own particular experiences.
