Abstract
This article deals with an adolescent occupational therapy programme carried out on two wards of London Psychiatric Hospital, London, Ontario, Canada. One ward dealt with drug abuse and the other with the whole spectrum of adolescent problems. The purpose of the article is to give occupational therapists greater insight into the problems facing adolescents and then offer some concrete suggestions for programmes found to be very effective with this age group.
