Abstract
This paper aims at an improved reading of P. Cairo II 30625, which was published in 1908 by W. Spiegelberg in the CGC. The text discovered during the excavations of B. P. Grenfell and A. S. Hunt in the years 1899/1900 in Tebtunis is a promissory note concerning a lease of the right to collect temple related contributions in the village of Kerkesoucha orous.
