Abstract
The chronology of the Second, Third, and Fourth Prophets of Amun during the Twenty-second and Twenty-third Dynasties is assessed, and the relationship between their families and the royal house, as well as their mutual inter-relationships, are investigated. The influence of political circumstances, and of the relationships between office holders and the king, on career development is also evaluated, with specific biographical information from the texts on funerary statues being discussed.
