Abstract
This article describes the survey of KV 39 and the examination of tomb finds carried out in the spring of 2002. The Mission involved a detailed architectural survey and planning programme; the examination and sorting of pottery; continued sieving of the original excavators' outside dump, c. 1900; on-site studies of skeletal and organic material; and the analysis, recording and photography of new finds for publication.
