The influence of structural inhomogeneity on the physical properties of partially crystalline polymers is examined. Methods for investigating the properties of polymers are considered. It is shown how it is possible to predict the properties of materials if characteristic diagrams are available for quantitative assessment of the degree of structural inhomogeneity.
