Hexa-para-aminophenoxycyclotriphosphazene (ACP) was synthesised by the reaction of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene with Schiff base phenolate based on benzaldehyde and p-aminophenol, with subsequent removal of the azomethine group. Curing of epoxy resins using ACP leads to the formation of composites with improved thermal characteristics.
