A study has been made of the possibility of increasing the epoxy anhydride impregnability of basalt fibre by introducing wetting agents from different manufacturers worldwide into standard lubricant No. 4s. By improving the lubricant, it proved possible to increase the impregnability of the basalt fibre considerably.
