Apparatus analysis is done with the aim of determining the process conditions, the main dimensions of the apparatus, and its internal arrangement to ensure the specified efficiency of separation of the initial feedstock at prescribed productivity. The process conditions are determined by the working pressure in the apparatus, by the temperatures of all the internal flows, by the specific heat consumption on partial evaporation of residue and cold consumption on vapour condensation in the upper part of the column, and by the specific consumption of absorbent.
