The Kinetics of Single-Electron Transfer from a Pyrrole Molecule to a Persulphate Ion

Abstract

An investigation was made of the kinetics of single-electron transfer from a pyrrole molecule to a peroxy disulphate ion in the initial period of oxidative polymerisation. It was shown that the reaction is second order, and the rate constants and activation energy of single-electron transfer were determined.
