A method has been developed for producing chemically modified fibre materials containing, on their surface, covalently fixed, micro/nanosized organosiloxane coatings with oligohexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride groups. The possibilities are shown of their practical use for protecting materials against biodamage by gram-positive and gram-negative microflora and insects (Ceratophaga).
