The results of investigations in the field of the emulsion polymerisation of vinyl acetate, initiated by Mn(III) trisacetyl acetonate, are analysed. The mechanism of the reaction and the influence of electron donor additives on the kinetics of reactions and the molecular weight of the polymers obtained are examined.
